Looking for a heavy traffic location? What about choosing a heavily advertising campaign? What to do?

Traffic is a flow of target customers near enough for his external displays and local advertising to draw them in. You have to find a great deal for different kinds of traffic, maybe foot traffic on a sidewalk, automobile traffic on a road or highway, or virtual traffic on a websiteRetailers need people walking, driving or surfing into their stores no matter what. Customers don’t come into a store or onto a website in big numbers unless you have plenty of people to draw from.

And old joke goes like this, “the retail business has three secrets for success – location, location and location.” Not very funny, really, unless you’ve ever tried to market a store in a poor location. Then you laugh pretty hard over the joke, but with a certain hysteria.

For example: if you’re in a small town, don’t open a rock collectors store or highly specialized restaurant, you better considered a convenience store or a small traditional restaurant in small town where everyone likes to eat out from time to time. In the other scenario you should open your store in a shopping mall or highway of a large city.

(Advertising )

You can optimize your business in a particular location by making sure your store has enough appeal to draw a healthy share of the shopping traffic in the area.

Also advertising it may be a solution for a poor tragic area, but be careful it can be an endless situation and an expensive one as well. Advertising a grand opening in a small town is very effective, you can reach the entire target market with a fraction of the investment as opposed to a large city, but trying to do so in a large city is just pointless, thousands of new businesses open every day and they advertise heavily on flyers, mail outs etc. Just like in the small towns. Here, in the large market, only massive media and well-targeted areas may create some brand awareness about the grand opening. Still LOCATION is highly important.
